1. Business identity & advertiser verification

  • Confirm the legal or trading business name used in Google Ads matches the real advertiser relationship.
  • Check that business address, phone, email and company details are consistent across the website and submitted documents.
  • Confirm the person or organization completing verification is the correct advertiser, agency or authorized representative.
  • Review Business Operations Verification answers for inconsistencies, missing context or unsupported claims.
  • Check whether the account has any identity, advertiser verification or document requests still incomplete.

2. Website trust, transparency & destination

  • Make the business identity, contact details and customer support information easy to find.
  • Review refund, return, cancellation, shipping, privacy and terms information where relevant to the offer.
  • Remove misleading, unverifiable or contradictory claims about products, pricing, guarantees or business credentials.
  • Confirm ads, keywords and landing pages describe the same product or service without material mismatch.
  • Test important pages on mobile and desktop for broken links, inaccessible content, errors or unexpected redirects.

3. Billing, account history & linked-account risk

  • Check billing profile information and any payment-verification notice shown inside the account.
  • Review recent changes to payment methods, billing country, payers or account ownership that may need explanation.
  • Identify other Google Ads accounts, manager accounts or businesses legitimately connected to the advertiser.
  • Do not create replacement accounts or new campaigns intended to bypass an unresolved enforcement action.
  • Document legitimate agency/client relationships so account ownership and access patterns can be explained accurately.

4. Security, technical behavior & Merchant Center

  • Scan the site for compromise, malicious code, injected pages, unauthorized scripts and suspicious redirects.
  • Check whether different users, devices or crawlers are being shown materially different destinations.
  • Review tracking templates, third-party redirects and URL parameters for unexpected destination behavior.
  • If Merchant Center is connected, check account-level warnings, product data, website claims and store-policy consistency.
  • After a security fix, keep evidence of what was discovered and what was changed before requesting another review.

5. Appeal preparation & evidence

  • Read the exact suspension or policy notice before changing anything; do not assume the reason from a generic label.
  • Record the issues you identified, the corrections made and the evidence supporting each correction.
  • Keep the appeal factual and specific; explain the business, what was reviewed and what changed.
  • If a review is already pending, follow the existing case and Google instructions before filing repeated requests.
  • Before resubmitting after a rejection, compare the rejection with the previous appeal and look for unresolved contradictions or missing evidence.
